  1. What an experience. I’m so glad you added this one to your resume, and shared it with us. The photos are glorious. My favorites are the falls on Dusy Creek, the confluence of Woods and South Baxter Creeks, and the reflection on Upper Rae Lake, but every view has something to commend it.

    I’m eager for cooler and less humid weather. Once we get TS Imelda out of here, it will be time to look for a new trail or two locally.

      The weather was fantastic. A really nice break from an unusually hot late summer out here in the Big Bend. Some nights we dropped to 23 degrees (that’s Farenheit), with daytime highs in the 60’s. This was my first trip to the Sierras, and they are really quite different from the Rockies.

      I’m ready to hit a few local trails myself, now that it looks like summer is making an exit.
